Disneyland Paris is open 365 days a year and has done so for 20 years. It doesn't even close on Christmas day or New Year's Eve - in fact it's open even longer on those days. The result is that during quieter periods of the year, attractions have to be closed in order to refurbish them and keep them working perfectly. It is also how they upgrade attractions. Sometimes minor attractions appear to be simply closed because it is low season and it does not make financial sense to run them.

Below you will find the attractions which are have had scheduled CONFIRMED closures announced by Disneyland Paris:

Disneyland Park:

  • Autopia - Closed 3rd January 2017 to 3rd February 2017.
  • Big Thunder Mountain - Closed until 16th December 2016.
  • Blanche Neige (Snow White) - Closed 5th to 16th December 2016.
  • Carrousel de Lancelot - Closed 16th January to 3rd February 2017.
  • Casey Jr. & Le Pays des Contes de Fees - Closed 9th January to 3rd March 2017.
  • Disneyland Railroad - Discoveryland station is closed until 17th March 2017. Fantasyland station is closed from 28th November 2016 until an undetermined date (likely 3rd March 2017).
  • Le Passage Enchante d'Aladdin - Closed 6th and 13th December 2016, and 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January 2017.
  • Phantom Manor - Closed 2nd to 20th January 2017.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean - Closed from 9th January 2017 to Summer 2017.
  • Space Mountain: Mission 2 - Closed from 9th January 2017 to 7th April 2017.
  • Star Tours - Closed until 17th March 2017.
  • Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing - Closed until 16th December 2016.

Walt Disney Studios Park:

  • Studio Tram Tour - Closed 9th January to April 2017.


  • Disney's Hotel Cheyenne - In refurbishment from February 2016 onwards.

In the future Disney's Hotel New York will close for a period of time to be completely refurbishment,t followed by the Disneyland Hotel.

IMPORTANT: Disneyland Paris has announced that it will be running a series of extended refurbishments in order to improve the park's main attractions - these are included in the refurbishments above.

Note: All these closures are always subject to change at any time and attractions may even be closed if work overruns, for technical problems, or for emergency maintenance. They may also re-open earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule.
